BOOKER, Erasmus - Putnam

Crawfordsville, Ind, February 6 – ET Booker, age 73, died here Monday.  He was in the grocery business in Brownsburg and Crawfordsville many years.  He also had worked in the Big Four Railroad shops in Beech Grove.  He is survived by the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Florence Cline, Mrs. Leetha Mendenhall and Mrs. Era Smith all of Indianapolis; a son Clarence Booker, Roachdale, four stepchildren and 8 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Crawfordsville First UB Church of which he was a member conducted by his brothers-in-law, the Rev. John Servies and Rev. VB Servies of Terre Haute. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. - kbz
